• 2/18/10: Transportation to the farm on Monday Feb. 22nd will be provided by the TVF, parent drivers (THANK YOU! :) ) and Sky Islands faculty. Please bring a water bottle, work clothes, and wear close-toed shoes.


• 2/22: Extra Credit- research the "Mr. Clucky" controversy in Florida


• 2/23: NEXT FARM TRIP is Monday, March 1st. Please be advised that this is an ALL-DAY trip!! Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Tucson Village Farm. Make sure to bring a water bottle and weather and work-appropriate clothing!
• 2/25-26: RODEO BREAK
• 3/1: ALL-DAY FARM WORK (8:30-3:20). See above for details.

3/1 Update: A HUGE thank you to all the students who participated in the work day today!! You guys were AWESOME, worked REALLY hard, had a lot of fun, were respectful and polite, and hopefully learned some stuff, too! I'm very pleased with the results and proud of all of you!

• 4/19: FARM TRIP: Let's put the roof on our mesquite ramada! Leave school 12:45, return 3:20

• 5/3: ALL-DAY FARM TRIP!! Those who are interested in really working, please be ready to go with appropriate clothing, a water bottle, sun protection, and a lunch. We'll be gone all day (8:30-3:00), so be prepared! Let's finish putting the roof on the mesquite ramada! Those who wish to opt out will have an alternate assignment at school during project time.
• 5/10: FINAL FARM TRIP: Finish the ramada and compost set up, and then celebrate with tacos!! YAY!
